“WOUNDED, NOT CONQUERED”
Experimental Dance Short Film featuring dancer & choreographer Sally O’Grady
This artistic short debuted at the Dance Camera West Film Festival 2020 in Los Angeles, CA. The visual poem features my friend and collaborator Sally O’Grady’s exquisite choreography and talent. Together, we created this piece as a commentary on the selves we portray, and how we reveal our “authentic” selves when words like “authentic” have almost lost their meaning. We wanted to make this film as visceral and immediate as possible. I’m damn proud of it.
